Our Mission:
To Provide Hope and Financial Aid to Those Seeking Treatment and Freedom from Eating Disorders.
Manna Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing funds for residential and inpatient eating disorder treatment for individuals lacking insurance coverage or for those with inadequate insurance coverage. Manna Fund grants scholarships to recipients by providing direct payment to partnering eating disorder treatment facilities.
Manna Fund is excited to annouce a new partnership with the Kirsten Haglund Foundation (KHF)! The Mission of the Kirsten Haglund Foundation is to provide hope, networking and financial aid to those seeking treatment and freedom from eating disorders. Kirsten Haglund is Miss America 2008, an advocate for increased awareness of Eating Disorders as a public health priority. A portion of the funds from KHF will be donated to Manna Fund. This is great news for our Manna Scholarship recipients!
We have some upcoming events in June- jewelry parties and a carwash- sponsored by Cornerstone Church in our local community, to help raise funds and awareness for Manna Fund. Be on the lookout for details and pictures from these events!
We are super excited to announce our Inaugural Be the Model(R) Campaign, a family-based fashion show! This event will take place in September, 2013. Bloomingdales is taking part and 10% of proceeds from sales on the date of the fashion show will go towards Manna Fund. Stay tuned for more details.
Our 5th Annual Manna Fund Golf Classic is in full swing! The Golf tournament will take place at the St Ives Country Club on October 7, 2013. Sponsorships are available and you can sign up by going to our golf page at www.mannafundgolf.org.

Scholarship News:
Thanks to your generous donations, the Manna Fund Board of Directors is very excited to announce that we have been able to grant not one, but TWO scholarships in March!
Our first recipient feared spending time with family and friends due to being uncomfortable around food. She was terrified to eat for fear of gaining weight. She withdrew from family, friends and school...eventually from life! Her wish is to just be happy, to know what it feels like to laugh again and have a smile on her face. She is dedicated to recovery and hopes to be able to return to school and finish her degree.
Our second recipient just found out this week that she is going to treatment. She used to be outgoing and athletic, but over the course of time, has become weak and atrophied. She is socially anxious, and tends to divert herself away from food and meals. She desires to be restored physically and mentally, so that her relationships will again flourish.
We are working diligently on having another scholarship in the near future. We are also working to get our application online for easier access and completion. Keep checking back for the new application process. We hope to have it available very soon. If you are a past applicant, your application will stay in the database until you tell us to remove it. We do not scholarship individuals who are currently in treatment (intensive or residential levels of care). The next time that we provide a scholarship, we will let you know if you will sign up for our email updates (on the left sidebar).
We understand the grave nature of your requests, and are praying for your recovery. If you are not selected, please, please continue to work your program and keep hope for your future. We desire to help everyone get the help that they need, but continue to need to raise funds.
If you would like to have a fundraiser in your area for Manna Fund, please send us an email (info@mannafund.org) and we will work with you. All donations to Manna Fund become distributed to those who have been selected to receive scholarships through our program.
Stay in recovery! Keep hope!
Trust healthy.
