Each bracelet is unique & hand-crafted by a Girl Scout within the Greater Atlanta Area. Each bracelet is labeled with a Gems/Girl Scout tag that states the name of the child that created the bracelet, her age, and the area of town or troop she is a part of. The Gems of the Heart program provides the Girl Scouts with an educational talk including a greater understanding of self-esteem, food myths, and de-bunking myths about eating. Each troop is then taught ways of preventing themselves from having an eating disorder.
